As the lead board-certified dermatologist and founder at Parkland Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery in tropical Coral Springs, Florida, Dr. Stephens brings the latest techniques and technologies to communities in the area.
At her private practice, Dr. Stephens offers several popular skin rejuvenating treatments. Her repertoire includes microneedling, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion. Before settling down in South Florida, Dr. Stephens completed an extensive education in skincare that began at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. After earning her medical degree there, she moved south to Plantation, Florida, for specialized fellowship training in pigmented lesions. She went on to complete further dermatology training as a resident at Nova Southeastern University in Broward County, Florida, where she quickly rose to the top of her class and became chief resident. During her time there, she also was awarded the title of resident of the year.
Dr. Stephens has worked hard to create a modern and welcoming environment for a diverse group of patients, accepting new and returning patients alike. She hopes to empower them, not only with gorgeously natural-looking results, but with the knowledge they need to care for their skin outside of the office. During her time outside of the office, she is passionate about uplifting communities of color and has lectured at numerous national and international conferences.
